South-central Vietnam's coastal province of Binh Dinh has opened a VND4.35 trillion ($174 million) tourist project to bidding for investor selection.

The 42.95-hectare Tan Thanh Tourist Complex will have an estimated development cost of VND4.25 trillion ($170 million), excluding site clearance costs and land rent, and VND100 billion for resettlement.

The project, located in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, will include hotels, resort villas, low-rise mixed-use commercial service areas, entertainment facilities, and spas that harmonize with the coastal landscape.

The project will have a life span of 50 years, calculated from the date the land is handed over to the investors.

Previously, the municipal Economic Zone Authority issued in-principle investment approval for the Eo Gio Ecotourism Area in the form of auctioning land use rights.

The project, located in Nhon Ly commune, Quy Nhon town in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, covers an area of 10.44 hectares, including 5.3 hectares of hills and rocky land; 2.2 hectares of sea; and 1.5 hectares of green spaces. It has investment capital of VND77.8 billion ($3.1 million).

This project will introduce a variety of integrated tourist services, a glass-bottomed bridge, scenic stops, and restaurants.

Since the start of this year, Binh Dinh has attracted 13 new investments, both inside and outside economic zones and industrial parks, with registered capital of VND2.02 trillion (roughly $81 million).
