$628 mln eco-resorts in Hoa Binh province seek investors

Hoa Binh, neighboring Hanoi, is seeking VND14,590 billion ($628 million) in private investment capital for three eco-resort projects in Kim Boi and Lac Son districts.

The three projects are set to enter operation in the first quarter of 2026, with the approval of the northern province's planning and investment authorities.

The first, a 189-hectare complex of eco-urban areas with high-class entertainment and cable car services, will span the communes of Kim Boi and Cuoi Ha, Kim Boi district.

With a planned population of about 10,900, the Late Summer project will have investment capital of VND6,656 billion ($286 million).

It will build 1,200 villas covering 350 to 750 square meters each, with three to four storeys, and 700 shophouses of 90 to 120 square meters, with four to five storeys. The construction density is 25-30% for villas, and a maximum 60% for shophouses.

The Doi Thung high-class entertainment, resort and eco-urban project will cover 186 hectares in Quy Hoa commune, Lac Son district.

With a planned population size of about 10,000, the VND5,306 billion ($228 million) project will build about 500 houses spaced from 90 to 120 square meters and 350 detached and semi-detached resort villas with an area of 450 to 500 square meters each.

The Ho Kha high-class hot mineral resort and eco-urban complex, located in Quy Hoa commune, Lac Son district, is set to house around 4,600 people with a scale of 85.2 hectares.

This VND2,628 billion ($113 million) complex will include between 110 and 200 detached villas with an area of 600 to 750 square meters each and about 120 semi-detached resort villas covering 450 to 500 square meters.

Hoa Binh is home to scenic landscapes and ethnic groups. The province hosts the giant Song Da hydro power plant, Kim Boi hot spring, and Hoa Binh reservoir, the largest man-made lake in Vietnam.
