AI to be widely applied in electronic contracts: Viettel exec
The application of AI in electronic contracts is expected to reduce costs, streamline work processes, and boost business efficiency, according to Nguyen Ai Lien, director of customer service at Viettel Group in Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the "Applying technology into practice" workshop held on Thursday in HCMC, Lien emphasized the benefits of digital solutions like remote digital signatures and electronic contracts.

Lien highlighted that electronic contracts (e-contracts) are becoming widely adopted due to their compliance with legal regulations, increased transparency, and enhanced reliability in contract signing processes.
With Viettel’s e-invoice solutions, businesses can track the signing process, ensure contract integrity, minimize risks of fraud, and prevent unauthorized modifications to contract information.
Currently, Viettel offers two primary solutions: e-invoice and e-invoice authentication, catering to the diverse needs of businesses. Companies can choose between non-authenticated and authenticated options on the Vietnam e-invoice development axis to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Additionally, businesses can integrate eKYC technology to verify the identities of contracting parties, enhancing authenticity. Viettel’s e-invoice solution supports multiple signing methods, including OTP and digital signatures from various providers, ensuring flexibility, cost efficiency, and robust security.
At the same workshop, Wilson Lieu, deputy director of the Institute of Informatics and Applied Economics and chairman of the Vietnam AI Capacity Development Alliance, discussed prominent AI trends for 2025. Key applications include financial analysis, advertising content creation, virtual assistants and presenters, and customer service.
Lieu pointed out that AI enables rapid and precise data analysis, empowering managers to make informed decisions. AI tools can also generate creative advertising content, saving both time and money.
Moreover, AI has the potential to replace or augment humans in professional communication and presentation roles. AI-powered customer service agents operate 24/7, offering convenience and significantly improving service efficiency.
“In 2025, AI agents will take on various roles in human resources and marketing. With a simple command, AI will execute tasks quickly and efficiently, optimizing solutions and reducing reliance on manpower compared to previous methods,” said Lieu.
