Bosch opens first home appliance flagship store in Vietnam
Bosch, a leading brand in premium household appliances, opened its first flagship store in Vietnam at the Estella Place Shopping Center in Ho Chi Minh City Friday.
A company release said the store would not only serve as a retail destination but also allow customers to explore and experience products integrated with modern, smart technologies reflecting current European trends.
"At the Bosch Home Appliances Experience Store, we strive to provide the most authentic experiences. Our commitment is to offer a unique and completely new environment, such as the ‘Ready for Family’ kitchen area, where Bosch’s most advanced products are seamlessly integrated into a real kitchen setting.
"Visitors can engage with Bosch’s latest dishwashing and drying technologies and witness demonstrations of smart laundry solutions. We aim to create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere, helping consumers find the perfect companion for their home," said the release.
Regel Stefan, director of Bosch Vietnam, commented: “Bosch seeks to be more than just an equipment supplier; we aspire to be a thoughtful and understanding partner for consumers on their journey toward a more comfortable and safer life."
Stefan Grosch, a management board member and director of industrial relations at Bosch who oversees its business in India and Southeast Asia, informed Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang early last month that the company intended to expand its software workforce in Vietnam by 2,000 people next year to expand production.
After three decades in Vietnam, Bosch currently employs 6,200 people, including 4,000 in software production. The firm aimed to increase its software production workforce to 6,000 in 2025, the executive elaborated.
He said Bosch would also strive to cooperate with Vietnam in high-quality workforce training, especially in sectors related to Industry 4.0.
