Can Tho-Da Lat flight route reopens on November 11

The Can Tho-Da Lat flight route will resume operations on November 11 after being suspended since September 2023.

Can Tho city is considered the heart of the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam, while the resort town of Da Lat in the Central Highlands is the country's top tourist attraction.

The Southern Airports Authority in Can Tho city announced on Monday that the Can Tho-Da Lat route will reopen on November 11 after more than a year of inactivity.

The first flight from Lien Khuong Airport in Da Lat town, Lam Dong province to Can Tho Airport is scheduled to depart at 11:30 a.m. on November 11. On the same day, a flight from Can Tho Airport to Da Lat will take off at 2:15 p.m.

Flights on this route will be operated by Vietjet, a private budget carrier, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with a flight duration of approximately 45 minutes.

Additionally, the Can Tho-Phu Quoc route is set to resume operations on October 28 after an over-a-year hiatus. Phu Quoc is a world-famous resort island in southern Vietnam.
