First Incheon-Da Lat flight lands after two years

A charter flight carrying 141 passengers from the South Korean city of Incheon landed Saturday at the Lien Khuong International Airport.

It was the first international flight to the Central Highlands town of Da Lat in more than two years, the hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Passengers and crew members on the Korean Air flight were presented gifts and flowers by local authorities on arrival.

The tourists plan to stay in Da Lat for five days, play golf and visit tourist attractions in the resort town.

Da Lat, called 'a little Paris of Vietnam, is the most charming town on any tour to Vietnam's Central Highlands.

The town, located in Lam Dong Province, is known for its cool weather throughout the year, French colonial villas, pine forests, flower gardens, lakes, waterfalls and many other attractions.

The port city of Incheon is South Korea's third largest city, after Seoul and Busan.
