CapitaLand partners with Vietnam firm to set up coworking space in Hanoi
CapitaLand Development (CLD) of Singapore-based CapitaLand Group has signed an agreement with Toong, a Vietnam-based coworking space developer, to set up and operate the first coworking space in a small office/home office (SOHO) development in Vietnam.
In a Monday announcement, CLD said the coworking space would be situated in CLD’s SOHO @ Heritage West Lake in Hanoi's Tay Ho district.
The establishment, also the first SOHO-style development in Vietnam with 202 units, is designed to function as an office and a home, ideal for entrepreneurs, young business elites and professionals seeking a flexible and well-designed space to work, live and play.

The space spans more than 900 square meters and occupies the fifth and sixth floors of the 25-storey development. It can accommodate more than 300 professionals, offering them convenient access to modern office essentials.
In addition to workstations, meeting rooms, and event spaces, Toong will also organize community-driven programs, seminars, and networking sessions to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.

The coworking space in Hanoi is CLD’s second partnership with Toong in Vietnam, after the first in The Oxygen, CLD’s mall in Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam is one of CLD’s core markets where it has built an extensive presence over 28 years. CLD (Vietnam)’s portfolio comprises one retail mall, one SOHO development, three integrated developments, and over 13,000 quality homes across 17 residential developments.
Toong, since its establishment in 2015, has enlarged its network to 20 facilities across Indochina, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa province, Danang city (Vietnam), Phnom Penh (Cambodia); and Vientiane (Laos).
