A recognition from the community
Organized annually by the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), the EuroCham Gala Dinner & Business Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of European and Vietnamese enterprises to Vietnam’s sustainable economic growth.
This year’s ceremony, themed “Wings of Change”, gathered European Ambassadors, Consuls General, government officials, investors, and business leaders to honor innovation, resilience, and collaboration between Vietnam and Europe in the era of green growth.
For the first time, EuroCham introduced the “Community Impact” category, with winners selected directly by members and partners across its network.
For Carlsberg Vietnam, this recognition holds special meaning – honoring a journey of more than three decades guided by the mission to brew for a better today and tomorrow, the company stated in a release.
Beyond brand pride, the award reaffirms the company’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, humanity, and shared prosperity – values that have long defined its partnership with Vietnam, it said.
“This award reflects the long journey we’ve undertaken to turn our sustainability commitments into meaningful, measurable impact,” said a Carlsberg Vietnam representative.
“For over three decades, we’ve believed that sustainability is not just a goal, but the way for businesses to grow alongside society. From innovation in production and responsible resource management to community initiatives that uplift lives, our story has always been about more than brewing beer – it’s about brewing opportunities and a better tomorrow for Vietnam and the people we serve.”
A steadfast journey of community impact
Throughout its growth journey, Carlsberg Vietnam has remained unwavering in its purpose of creating lasting, sustainable value for society, from bringing clean water to central Vietnam and supporting disaster recovery, to spreading care and compassion through its annual Tet (Lunar New Year holiday) initiatives.
For Carlsberg Vietnam, true sustainability is not built on one-time actions, but on consistent dedication and long-term responsibility toward the communities it serves.
One of the company’s most defining milestones is the “Fresh Water for Beloved Central” program, launched in 2019 as a long-term pledge to one of life’s most vital resources: clean water.
Over seven years, the initiative has brought more than 3.3 million cubic meters of clean water to nearly 9,500 households, improving the livelihoods of approximately 40,000 people across the central region.
In 2025 alone, four new water supply systems are being built in close collaboration with local authorities, helping ensure sustainable, safe, and independent access to clean water for local communities.

Over a decade of spreading love across central Vietnam
Alongside its clean-water journey, Carlsberg Vietnam continues to spread the spirit of care and connection through the annual “Tet is Full, Tet is Love” program – a heartfelt initiative sustained for more than a decade. Each year, the program brings the warmth of spring and the joy of reunion to thousands of underprivileged families, ensuring that the festive spirit of Tet reaches every home.
To date, more than 75,000 Tet gift packages have been delivered across nine provinces in central Vietnam, helping make each Lunar New Year a little fuller, warmer, and brighter for families in need. For Carlsberg Vietnam, “Tet is Full” is more than a message – it’s a promise fulfilled, year after year, through genuine acts of compassion.
Carlsberg’s sense of responsibility also shines through in the most challenging moments. Recently, when central Vietnam, particularly Hue and Danang, suffered one of the most severe floods in years, the company swiftly donated VND1.5 billion ($57,000) to help affected families recover and rebuild their lives.

Earlier, in 2024, when typhoon Yagi struck northern Vietnam, Carlsberg Vietnam and its employees jointly contributed over VND1.1 billion in emergency relief, demonstrating solidarity and compassion where it mattered most.
Brewing for a sustainable future with Vietnam
The “Community Impact” award is both a recognition of Carlsberg Vietnam’s enduring efforts and a powerful motivation to continue building long-term value for people, communities, and the planet.
“As part of the Carlsberg Group’s global Together Towards ZERO & Beyond strategy, we are accelerating our journey toward net-zero emissions in production by 2028,” shared a representative of Carlsberg Vietnam.
“But beyond targets and milestones, what truly drives us is the belief that progress only matters when it uplifts people. From our employees and partners to the communities we serve, every step we take in sustainability is about creating shared value that lasts. This recognition is a meaningful reminder of our purpose, to not only brew exceptional beer, but to brew a greener, more sustainable future together with Vietnam.”
