Central Vietnam-based Hoiana Resort & Golf appoints new CFO
Hoiana Resort & Golf, a premier luxury integrated resort located in Quang Nam province, has appointed Melvyn Boey its chief financial officer (CFO).
Boey brings expertise in strategic financial initiatives and operational efficiency, pivotal for guiding Hoiana's financial strategy and market expansion in the luxury hospitality sector, Hoiana announced in a release on Monday.
He is poised to lead the resort's financial strategy and operations, driving growth and operational excellence.

Boey has held diverse leadership roles in equity research, corporate finance and hospitality-related sectors in his over 25-year career experience, demonstrating a strong track record of enhancing revenue and optimizing expenses.
During his latest tenure at a leading Singaporean integrated resort, he played a crucial role in navigating the company through challenges, including the Covid-19 pandemic, by executing business re-orientation and cost optimialization programs.
Prior to his transition into the hospitality industry, Melvyn spent many years at top-tier investment banks and institutions including Schroders, JP Morgan, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

At Hoiana, Boey will oversee the resort’s financial operations, spearhead strategic financial planning initiatives, and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency, Wolstenholme noted.
His leadership is poised to steer Hoiana towards achieving ambitious goals, ensuring financial stability, and fostering sustainable growth while upholding the resort’s commitment to excellence in luxury hospitality, he added.
Wolstenholme said that Melvyn Boey's appointment aligns seamlessly with Hoiana’s mission to deliver exceptional guest experiences and advance Vietnam's hospitality industry.
