Chinese projector maker XGIMI to invest $13 mln in northern Vietnam
XGIMI, a China-based projector manufacturer, has received an investment registration certificate to invest $13 million in Vietnam’s northern province of Nam Dinh.
Accordingly, the firm will build a 5.67-hectare factory in the province's My Thuan industrial park.

XGIMI is set to complete administrative procedures by the second quarter of 2025, build the factory from Q2/2025-Q2/2026, install equipment and conduct trial production in Q2/2026-Q3/2026, and enter official operation in Q3/2026.
Once operational, the facility will have an annual capacity of 400,000 products.
Founded in 2013, XGIMI leads the Chinese market and has built up a network of over 5,000 stores across the globe. It is known for producing smart projectors, high-performance and multi-function televisions, and displays.
According to preliminary data from provincial authorities, Nam Dinh’s index of industrial production grew 14.29% year-on-year in the first half of 2024, while its gross regional domestic product growth was 8.56%.
In the first six months of 2024, Nam Dinh attracted $148.9 million in FDI, including $123.88 million in new investments and $25.1 million from capital injections for existing projects. The overall figure was up 17.5% year-on-year.
