Dragon Capital kicks off investment products on MoMo e-wallet
Dragon Capital Vietnam Fund Management (DCVFM) has launched fund certificates via the popular MoMo e-wallet, the first of its kind in Vietnam.
Via a partnership signed by Vietnam-focused financial institution Dragon Capital and M-Service Company, the latter’s MoMo platform will allow investors to use the e-wallet to trade open-ended fund certificates managed by Dragon Capital.
This is the first time in the Vietnamese financial market that open-ended fund certificate trading is made available on a super-app platform.
In less than one minute, investors can open a fund certificate trading account without going to a counter directly, according to MoMo. Moreover, investors do not have to open additional bank accounts or bear transfer fees (if any) when depositing investments.
"The partnership can be seen as a breakthrough in Vietnam's financial industry. An experienced fund management company with more than 25 years of history and the largest scale of assets under management teams up with a leading fintech unicorn to bring diverse investment products to more than 31 million users," said Luong Thi My Hanh, head of domestic asset management at DCVFM.
