FPT Retail, Bayer Vietnam launch strategic partnership

Bayer Vietnam of German healthcare and nutrition corporation Bayer and FPT Retail’s Long Chau Pharmacy chain have embarked on a strategic partnership in advancing community healthcare in Vietnam.

Under the partnership, the two sides join hands in further training Long Chau pharmacists and organizing programs providing common knowledge on pathology.

The two partners will also use their digital technology and available resources in three areas, namely improving the professional capacity of the chain’s pharmacists; providing knowledge on pathology; and ensuring medicine supply for patients.

“We also want to provide the community good products and services from our world-leading pharmaceutical partners to improve the quality of treatment and healthcare for Vietnamese people," Nguyen Bach Diep, FPT Retail chairwoman and CEO of FPT Long Chau told the partnership launch last Friday.

Ingo Brandenburg, managing director of Bayer Vietnam, said: "With the partnership, we hope to bring many positive impacts in daily healthcare to the community and improve treatment efficiency for patients… Consumers and patients are at the heart of our business strategy.”
