Home Credit navigates fraud risks
Home Credit Vietnam, a leading consumer finance company in the country, has sought to counter fraudulent activities in the sector.
Two former employees at the firm recently received prison sentences for having colluded with others to appropriate company assets.
Besides Home Credit, other consumer finance companies must deal with similar risks due to dishonest employees.
Home Credit said the two former employees had been active in 2015, and the firm has made continual efforts in working with authorities to prevent similar occurences.
Fabien Sanchez, chief of risk at Home Credit Vietnam, said: “During 14 years of operation in Vietnam, we’ve set a standard for sustainable growth by respecting local regulations, being socially responsible and customer centric. Home Credit always ensures absolute compliance with government regulations."
He added Home Credit Vietnam continuously applies new technologies and focuses on digital transformation to deliver solutions like mobile apps and virtual credit cards to improve customer experience.
