HopLuc an industrial park construction giant in Vietnam
HopLuc Construction JSC boasts many years in industrial park construction as the engineering & construction (E&C) contractor for a series of large projects across Vietnam.
HopLuc was established in 2009 as a construction consultancy provider and subcontractor. Only one year after its establishment, the company became a subcontractor for the Samsung Electronics Vietnam project - Samsung's first factory in Vietnam based in Yen Phong Industrial Park, the northern province of Bac Ninh.
After a period of accumulating experience and resources, in 2014, HopLuc took an important step by becoming an E&C contractor. Two years later, it served as the E&C contractor for Luxshare-ICT (Vietnam) - a large project requiring high technical and professional expertise.
HopLuc is now implementing E&C contracts for a series of large projects such as the Luxshare-ICT 2 in the central province of Nghe An, the Juteng electronic components and automobile parts production factory also in Nghe An, and the BYD Electronics (Vietnam) factory in the northern province of Phu Tho. It is also the main contractor for the Goertek Smart Technology Vina Co., Ltd. factory in Bac Ninh province.
Along with the construction of many large projects, HopLuc's charter capital and revenue have grown rapidly. The company's charter capital recorded a 5-fold increase from VND150 billion in November 2019 to VND750 billion ($30.42 million) in July 2023. It enjoyed average revenue growth of nearly 35.5% per year from 2015-2022.
Behind the rapid development of HopLuc is the leadership of chairman Le Anh Hung, CEO and legal representative Tran Ngoc Tan, and deputy CEO Nguyen Manh Hung.
The ambition of HopLuc's leadership did not stop at building industrial parks. Therefore, the company has set up five more member units, namely Capplus JSC (wholesale of household items), HopLuc Electromechanica JSC (electrical system installation), HL Windows JSC, HopLuc Plating Technology JSC, and Cap Hung Yen JSC (bed, cabinet, table and chair production).
Among these, HopLuc Plating Technology JSC is a legal entity established at the end of 2019 with "the mission to become one of the leading standard plating factories in Vietnam".
At the time of establishment, the company had a charter capital of VND150 billion ($6.08 million), contributed by HopLuc Construction JSC (51%), Tran Ngoc Tan (10%), Le Anh Dung (10%), Le Anh Hung ( 19%), and Nguyen Manh Hung (10%).
By June 2023, it had a charter capital of VND280 billion ($11.36 million), with Le Anh Dung as CEO and legal representative.
Headquartered in Hung Yen, HopLuc is the investor of a 21,600-square meter metal plating factory project located in this northern province.
Thanks to preferential policies, the number of industrial parks in Vietnam increased significantly from one in 1991 to 260 in 2010, and 407 by the end of 2022.
Experts forecast that in the coming time, the prospects for the industrial park sector in Vietnam will be positive thanks to many factors, including the trend of shifting production from China, improving FDI capital flows, continued government support, and improved transport infrastructure, especially in the southern region.
