Just one investor registers to build $83 mln urban complex in Ha Giang province

Ha Giang-based Urban Development and Construction Investment JSC is the only investor that has registered to implement the Phu Hung New Urban Area project in the eponymous province, Vietnam's northern highlands.

The project would cover an area of 46.48 hectares in Minh Khai ward with a total investment of VND2,032 billion ($83.4 million), including VND49 billion for site clearance compensation and resettlement support, according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

The 50-year project will have to be completed within five years from the date of land allocation, lease or granting of land use change.

The project will have row houses, social housing, commercial and service buildings, schools and technical infrastructure facilities.

Urban Development and Construction Investment JSC, established in 2010, operates mainly in the real estate business. It is headquartered in Nguyen Trai ward, Ha Giang town, with 48-year-old Chu Anh Tuan as general director and legal representative.

Tuan is also the legal representative of Hung Thinh HD Investment and Development JSC., founded in the northern province of Hai Duong in 2022. Its main business is construction of civil engineering works.
