In addition to the recovery of air passengers, the number of domestic tourists traveling by road from the Central Highlands and southern provinces is also forecast to increase during this year's summer tourist season.

At the same time, the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao expressway was put into operation at the end of April, creating favorable conditions for tourists from southern provinces to visit Khanh Hoa.

This year, the province aims to attract nine million visitors, incluing three million foreign travelers, raking in revenues of VND40 trillion ($1.57 billion).

Drone light show

During this year's summer tourist season, Khanh Hoa province's tourism industry has stepped up promotions through tourism and entertainment events in Nha Trang city.

The Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival with the theme "Bright Nha Trang Pearl Bay" will take place from June 13 to June 16. The festival will feature about 200 tourism, service, commercial, and culinary booths operating in an open space, with free entry so that tourists and local people can easily access the event. The festival is expected to attract 350-400 thousand domestic and international visitors and representatives from foreign diplomatic missions in Vietnam.

In addition, Khanh Hoa province will also hold the Nha Trang International Bay of Light Festival - Ever Glamor Nha Trang 2024 in July. The festival, with the theme "Brilliant Milky Way", will be the first drone light performance competition in Vietnam, with the participation of four teams from South Korea, China, France, and the UAE.

Each team will perform with a minimum of 1,000 drones, with two different themes on the competition nights, about the current and future culture and image of Khanh Hoa, combined with modern music performances on stage to create a vivid overall picture of creative art.
