At the IR Awards 2024 ceremony held on Tuesday in Ho Chi Minh City, Military Bank (MB) was granted two awards: Financial Large Cap Individual Investors' Best Choice and Financial Large Cap Financial Institutions' Best Assessment.
“This is a testament to MB’s efforts to continuously improve investor relations and develop IR activities professionally and effectively on the basis of full compliance with the laws, and promote the application of good common practices close to international standards,” said Dam Nhan Duc, chief economist at the Hanoi-based bank.
Winning double awards at the IR Awards 2024 is also a motivation for MB to achieve its goals as the bank’s 30th establisment anniversary (November 4, 1994-November 4, 2024) is drawing near and actualize its vision until 2026 of becoming not only a digital bank but also a leading digital company.

In the period 2023-2024, MB has deployed IR activities synchronously and diversely. The bank has attended many annual events organized by leading securities companies at home and abroad such as the Vietnam Access Day 2023 and 2024 (Vietcap); Emerging Vietnam 2023 and 2024 (HSC); Vietnam Corporate Day 2023 and 2024; Asean Corporate Day 2023 (in Singapore); and Asean Corporate Day 2024 (in Malaysia) (Maybank). Each event brought together hundreds of domestic and foreign investment funds.
MB has organized quarterly Investor Meetings (Analyst Meetings) after releasing its financial statements, with the participation of hundreds of domestic and foreign investment funds that are shareholders of MB and other potential institutional investors.
It has also conducted one-on-one meetings with investment funds at the bank’s headquarters or online meetings at the request of investment funds.
The bank, listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange as MBB, organizes an annual average of 50-60 meetings with investment funds and leading securities companies in the market like Vietcap, HSC, SSI, and Maybank.
MB regularly answers questions from investors at its events and general meetings of shareholders as well as questions sent via email and phone.
IR Awards is a program to honor listed businesses with the best IR performance. These businesses have good information disclosure, good strategic governance and good financial communication, contributing to raising stock prices to be commensurate with the corporate value.
The events, co-organized by Vietstock in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Financial Executives (VAFE) and FiLi Magazine, have taken place annually since 2011.
