It is one of the activities of the Miss Cosmo 2024 beauty contest which will be held for the first time in Vietnam by Unicorp, the company that owned the copyright and successfully organized Miss Universe Vietnam in the last 15 years.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Thi Xuan Hanh will be the host representative at the contest.

It is expected that the contestants from more than 70 countries and regions will land in Ho Chi Minh City for the Grand Finale in late September.

Many activities will be held during the contest which will be held over several weeks, among them is a series of vibrant festivals and cultural performances -- Vivid Vietnam -- in different provinces and cities.

The first one, Cosmo Hello from Vietnam fashion show, is considered a warm, goodwill greeting from the Miss Cosmo organization and the host country to the world.

Contestants will catwalk clothes and dresses in the Le Thanh Hoa Fall - Winter 24 collection which reflects a flow of Vietnamese culture blending with majestic natural beauty.

Designer Le Thanh Hoa is known for his effort to bring Vietnamese themes of beauty into each design and his creations are at traditional craft villages. Typically, silk from Ma Chau Village (Quang Nam) is the core material to many designs as a way to honor and preserve Vietnamese cultural values.

"Familiar images of rice plants, lotus flowers, mountains and the colorful natural scenery of Ninh Binh are fully recreated on my special designs which combine eye-catching forms, interesting patterns, hand embroidery technique and unique material processing," said Hoa.

"Each design is not simply a costume but also contains a story that links the past and the future. It is a way to preserve and bring traditional values into a new, modern and trendy context.

"Through this collection, I want to honor the cultural beauty, traditional craft villages and landscapes of Vietnam, creating Vietnamese outfits that follow the world fashion trends."

In addition to the fashion show, contestants will also experience a series of exciting welcoming, cultural exchanges and heritage promotion activities.

Trang An is an intact chronicle of environmental change and human responses in the past, preserving the residential tradition of prehistoric people. The process of terrain change, geology and geomorphology spanning millions of years creates the beautiful natural landscape of this place.

Khe Coc Island in Trang An is a place that recreates the cultural living space of ancient residents. Choosing Khe Coc as the venue for the show is an idea to affirm the long-standing value of proud Vietnamese culture and history.

After Ninh Binh, many other activities will be held including Best of Vietnam Festival in Lam Dong province and Best of the World Festival 2024 in HCMC.
