Pepsico to build $88 mln food factory in Vietnam’s Ha Nam province
PepsiCo Foods Vietnam has received an investment certificate to invest VND2.14 trillion (over $88 million) in building a factory in the northern province of Ha Nam.
The 8-hectare project in Dong Van I Industrial Park is set to deploy in 2024, marking the 30th year of PepsiCo in Vietnam. It is scheduled to enter into operation in the third quarter of 2025.

Utilizing renewable energy, regenerative agriculture, and digital solutions, the project will expand its material sources beyond Ha Nam province to the northern region, aiming for an annual output of 23,000 tons of snacks for the Vietnam and Cambodia markets.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ha Nam Chairman Truong Quoc Huy asked PepsiCo Foods Vietnam and relevant agencies to cooperate to meet deadlines for the project.
With Japan’s Suntory as its partner in Vietnam, PepsiCo Foods Vietnam now runs 14 factories and distribution centers in the country, employing 13,000 people. Popular products include Lay’s, Poca, Doritos, Quaker, Pepsi, 7 Up, Aquafina, and Sting.
