Better than expected progress has been made on key phase 1 tasks for the Bac Ha Thanh Residential Area project in the southern province of Binh Duong, reports developer Phat Dat Corporation.

While 95.99% of phase 1 landfilling and compaction work has been completed, road excavation and organic dredging have far exceeded expectations, achieving 312.96% and moving ahead into phase 2.

Located in Tuy Phuoc district, the VND2,343 billion ($93.54 million) Bac Ha Thanh Residential Area will span 43.16 hectares.

The project is strategically situated along National Route 19, at the center of Tuy Phuoc’s new urban area, which is part of the planned northwest expansion of Quy Nhon town. The prime location is poised to become a development hub for Binh Dinh, supported by comprehensive transportation infrastructure.

After construction began in October 2023, the developer and construction contractor ramped up manpower, machinery and equipment in order to speed up work on technical infrastructure and public areas including green spaces, parks and roads.

To date, the first-floor walls of the project’s shop-house section are nearing completion.

The project, which will have a total of 1,422 units, will significantly enhance the local urban landscape, offering high-quality products that meet the real housing needs of customers, a Phat Dat statement said.

The “modern model urban area” would generate substantial revenues for the developer, it added.
