PV Gas named among most prestigious, efficient public companies in 2023
Leading Vietnamese gas supplier PV Gas has been ranked 20th among the top 50 most prestigious and efficient public companies in Vietnam in 2023 by Vietnam Report JSC, a leading local ranking and research company.

To compile the list, Vietnam Report evaluated public companies, both listed and unlisted, through two stages. The first was to select qualified companies based on sales, profit, assets, and market cap, which starts from VND500 billion (over $21.3 million), as of April 29, 2023.
The second stage ranked the top 50 firms based on two main groups of criteria. The first included enterprise size, efficiency, and prospects shown by indicators like market cap, revenue, profit, earnings per share (EPS), return on equity (RoE), and compound growth rate of revenue and profit.
The second group of criteria included media reputation assessed using the Media Coding method, which encodes influential news and feature stories about companies.
Vietnam Report also collaborated with financial and economic experts to make additional assessments of growth potential, sustainable development, management quality, and position in the industry of each public company.
The top 50 list includes oil and gas firms, including Petrovietnam Fertilizer and Chemical Corporation, PV Gas, Ca Mau Petroleum Fertilizer JSC, Petrovietnam Power Corporation, Nhon Trach 2 Petroleum Power JSC, and Petrovietnam Transportation Corporation.
The award ceremony is set to take place in Hanoi this August.
