PV Gas NCSP hits H1 business targets with focus on safety
Nam Con Son Gas Pipeline Company (PV Gas NCSP), a subsidiary of gas giant PV Gas, has completed all tasks and met all H1 targets while staying focused on safety.
In the first six months of 2024, the firm received, processed and transported nearly 1.13 billion Standard cubic meters (Sm3) of gas, or an average of about 6.2 million Sm3 of gas day and night, with 100% reliability and operational availability.
Security, safety, and fire prevention were maintained with the company recording no security issues, no incidents of chemical spills, no gas supply interruption and no serious damage to property and environment. Notably, it also recorded no incidents of Lost Time Injury (LTI).
From January 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024, the company accumulated 197,935 safe working hours.
PV Gas also carried out 7,846 maintenance and repair tasks with many improvements and optimizations, ensuring quality and contributing to stable plant operations. Critical equipment was maintained and operated per schedule.

The company has earned high appreciation from local governments and residents for its social, humanitarian work that offered practical support to the community at large.
For instance, it has participated in the “Love Connection” program of the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Radio and Television station to support needy people in the province.
For instance, it has backed the “VND2,000 Love Kitchen" (VND2,000 = 8 U.S. cents) in Vung Tau town to provide lunches for needy people; taken care of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Dong in the southern province’s Binh My hamlet, Chau Duc district.
The company has also given 100 gifts worth a combined VND58 million ($2,290) to poor and needy households in Son Binh commune, Chau Duc district within the framework of the “Spring of Love 2024” program.
PV Gas NCSP has allocated VND940 million ($37,170) for social work this year, covering 11 programs in education, health and house building.

The company has also followed guidelines from parent firm PV Gas to maintain its corporate culture in an “active, creative and diverse manner,” fostering internal communications to create a “multi-dimensional influence” on its executives and employees.
It has offered courses to develop professional and leadership capacities. It has also built reading spaces as part of efforts to promote a learning culture through self-study, self-training and strengthening internal training among employees.
In training, it has paid full attention to implementing the “5S” model, (five Japanese standards: Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) to create a friendly and increasingly professional working environment.
