The PV Gas Trading labor union has to date gathered 63 members divided into six groups for different functions. It also includes committees for inspection, legal and internal affairs; culture, arts, sports; children, life, travel, safety and occupational hygiene; and finance, emulation and reward.

In the term 2018-2023, although production and business activities have been affected by difficulties in the domestic and foreign LPG markets, the PV Gas Trading labor union has achieved remarkable results.

The union focuses on key tasks like protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees via income and benefits, iinspection and supervision of the implementation of corporate policies and rules directly related to employees (rules on salary, rewards, recruitment and the like), disseminating Collective Labor Agreement content to employees and making suggestions to secure further benefits (working time, social and health insurance, salaries and bonuses).

The union closely coordinates with the company in organizing annual meetings with employees. It also checks the signing of labor contracts and specific content on the rights and obligations of both employees and employer. Thanks to this, social and health insurance are paid properly per corporate regulations.

Also to serve employees, the union gives birthday gifts, hands out allowances, pays visits to sick workers, and promptly handles labor-related issues.

The union, together with company leadership, implements benefit policies for employees like annual health insurance services, dedicated health check-ups, voluntary retirement insurance, life insurance policies for all employees, travel support for annual leave, and visits to sick employees. Office workers have breakfast at the office, while workers at production and outside sites get money for meals.

Since 2021, the company has carried out LPG business plans with warehouses in northern Vietnam, boosting its regional share as a major market player.

PV Gas, the parent company of PV Gas Trading, is a subsidiary of Petrovietnam, Vietnam's national oil and gas corporation. PV Gas, established in 1990, focuses on gathering, transporting, storing, processing and distributing gas and gas products, as well as distributing LPG. It also leads the development of the country's LNG import market.

As for PV Gas Trading, its latest trade union meeting voted for a new board for the union in the 2023-2028 term. Its chairman is Ngo Duy Trong, also its chief accountant. The head of the inspection committee is Pham Minh Tuan from the general planning department. The meeting also elected a delegation to attend the annual PV Gas trade union meeting with six official delegates and one stand-by delegate.
