PVI Insurance Corporation, Vietnam's leading non-life insurer, has successfully expanded its charter capital from VND3,900 billion to VND4,320 billion ($163.65 million).

This capital raise is part of the company’s long-term strategy to strengthen financial capacity, meet growing risk management requirements, and affirm its commitment to sustainable development.

Solid financial foundation a strategic leap

The capital hike enhances PVI Insurance’s ability to underwrite major national projects and large, complex contracts, while expanding opportunities for international cooperation.

With this new capital base, the insurer continues to lead Vietnam’s non-life insurance sector in terms of capital scale, creating a strong platform to develop new products, apply digital technologies, and improve customer service quality.

Alongside its financial strength, PVI Insurance has consistently upheld a transparent governance system aligned with international standards and has built a high-quality workforce of nearly 2,500 employees nationwide.

These factors enable the company to sustain growth in an increasingly competitive insurance market while safeguarding the interests of both customers and shareholders.

This latest capital increase once again demonstrates PVI Insurance’s strong commitment to expanding scale, enhancing service quality, and leveraging technology to deliver better customer experiences while strengthening trust from partners and the international community.

International recognition and Vietnam’s No.1 market position

In the first nine months of 2025, PVI Insurance achieved numerous milestones both domestically and internationally.

For the third consecutive year, it received an A- (Excellent) financial strength rating from AM Best, affirming its solid financial capability and stable outlook.

It won three Country Awards for Excellence 2025 from Insurance Asia News (Hong Kong), becoming the only Vietnamese non-life insurer honored in all three categories: Best General Insurer, Vietnam’s Outstanding Claims Management, and Best Digital Insurer of the Year.

Domestically, PVI Insurance has consistently ranked first in terms of non-life insurance market share and continues to lead the Top 10 Most Reputable Non-Life Insurance Companies in Vietnam announced by Vietnam Report in 2025.

These prestigious international awards recognize the company's outstanding achievements, reflecting its relentless efforts, strong strategic direction, and core values of dedication, professionalism, and innovation.

The company’s success further reinforces customer and partner confidence, not only in Vietnam but also across the broader Asian insurance market.
