Samsung supplier Partron to increase investment in Vietnam to $269 mln
Partron Vina Co. Ltd., under Samsung supplier South Korea-headquartered Partron Co. Ltd., will increase the company's investment in its Vietnam facility in the northern province of Vinh Phuc to $269.4 million to enlarge production.
Partron Vina started operation in Vietnam in 2008 with an initial investment of $4 million. After the latest adjustment to its investment, also the 34th one, the project will cover 6.54 hectares in the Khai Quang Industrial Park of Vinh Phuc province.
Partron Vina said the enlargement aims to serve the market's growing demand for new items.

According to the latest investment registration certificate granted in March, Partron Vina will expand its output with eight new products, raising the total figure to 34. The annual capacity will grow to 1.57 billion items, from the current 1.21 billion.
Per annual basis, the additional output includes 1.7 million SMA electronic circuit boards for electric vehicle chargers, 1 million electronic shelf labels (ESLs), one million SSM sensors for Bluetooth ear pods, 350 million ANT antenna for mobile phones and wireless devices, 1 million TPD mouse pads, 0.1 million SHA hearing assistance devices, 2.62 million ECU electronic controllers for vehicles, and 0.3 million TMS tire pressure meters.
The firm is set to install equipment towards operation in July and August.
