Seven young employees of PetroVietnam Gas (PV Gas) have been selected for Petrovietnam’s “Outstanding Youth 2025” program, an initiative aimed at identifying and developing high-potential talent across the state energy group.

Petrovietnam recently held nationwide assessments and interviews for the PV-Youth 2025 program, a key component of its talent governance plan designed to nurture young professionals capable of supporting the group’s sustainable development and energy transition goals.

More than 60 excellent candidates from units across Petrovietnam have been selected. PV Gas contributed seven representatives, who were chosen based on performance, leadership qualities, and innovation achievements.

PV-Youth 2025 targets two groups of employees: young managers under 35 years old, and employees under 30 who have been recognized for innovations, scientific research or technical solutions.

Participants will receive training in management, leadership, innovation and on-the-job project exposure under the program’s 70:20:10 training model - combining formal learning, mentoring and practical field experience at key oil and gas projects.

Petrovietnam noted that the selection of 60 people reflects the strength of its young workforce and its emphasis on developing talent for future leadership roles.
