Deep C Industrial Zones in Quang Ninh province has secured three new investment projects with combined registered capital of about VND6.38 trillion ($242 million), reinforcing its position as an attractive destination for manufacturing and logistics.

Deep C Industrial Zones is a Belgian developer and operator of an industrial zone and port infrastructure cluster in Haiphong city and Quang Ninh province - the most dynamic growing region in northern Vietnam

Quang Ninh authorities granted in-principle approvals for the projects at their 2025 investment promotion conference on Monday.

The first project is the VND3.94 trillion ($149.3 million) Chanh River Port No. 3 development. The port will be built to receive vessels of up to 50,000 tons or larger, depending on navigation conditions.

The second project, by Hong Kong-based Eva Limited, involves a metal and plastic products manufacturing facility covering 60,000 square metres at Deep C Quang Ninh 2.

The project carries an investment of more than VND1.36 trillion ($51.49 million) and is designed to produce 273.5 million units per year, equivalent to 49,180 tons.

The third project, by IKD Holding 12 PTE. LTD (a Core5 Vietnam entity), will develop ready-built factories and warehouses for lease.

The project includes six ready-built facilities and supporting infrastructure with total construction area of about 65,867 square metres, and requires more than VND999 billion ($37.88 million).

All the three projects align with Quang Ninh’s strategy to develop an innovation-driven ecosystem and attract leading enterprises in digital technology, high-tech manufacturing, supporting industries, circular economy, and smart aquaculture.

Bruno Jaspaert, CEO of Deep C Industrial Zones, said the complex would continue to target investment in semiconductors, high-tech industries, and electronic chips, aiming to build a modern, environmentally friendly, high-value-added industrial ecosystem.

He added that with strong support from Quang Ninh authorities, Deep C would continue to grow sustainably.

Deep C is currently one of Vietnam’s leading eco-industrial park developers, pioneering the development of eco-industrial parks and the integration of smart technology solutions.

The company's model industrial parks in Hai Phong and Quang Ninh utilize renewable energy, circular water treatment systems, internal electric vehicles, and IoT-integrated infrastructure.

To date, Deep C Industrial Zones has attracted over $8 billion in registered investment capital with more than 170 projects, many of which are operational.
