Super Energy’s nine solar power projects in Vietnam, with a combined capacity of 836.72 MW, earned revenue of THB854.4 million ($23.3 million), up 1.53% year-on-year. The firm attributed the growth to a slight increase in light intensity compared to the previous year.

Its 50-MW wind power project in Vietnam, namely HBRE Chu Prong Wind Power Farm, currently the firm’s only operational wind power facility, recorded revenue of THB165.6 million ($4.5 million), up 1.77% year-on-year. Super Energy said the rise in the average wind speed led to the increase.

As a result, Super Energy posted gross profits of THB440.1 million ($12 million) from solar projects in Vietnam, down 0.3% year-on-year. For wind power, the figure was THB120.4 million ($3.3 million), up 4.7%.

Globally, Super Energy recorded revenue of THB2,768.2 million ($75.3 million) in Q1/2024, up 1.82% year-on-year. Its Vietnam operations accounted for 38% of the total.
