Event preparations have received the direction of Vietnam’s Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (VAFIE), the parent entity of The Investor.
On October 21, in his speech at the opening session of the ongoing parliament meeting, Party General Secretary To Lam said: “Among the three biggest bottlenecks today - institutions, infrastructure and human resources, institutions are the bottleneck of the bottlenecks”.
The Vietnamese top leader's assessment was highly welcomed by the foreign and domestic business communities.
Reality shows that legal barriers are causing congestion in business activities, leading to a big loss of opportunities and resources while underming the competitiveness of the country’s investment environment.
The seminar, held at the Ministry of Planning and Investment building at 65 Van Mieu street, seeks solutions to overcome “institutional bottlenecks”, especially in the field of investment in infrastructure and real estate development.
The discussion will be attended by parliament members, representatives of ministries, economic and legal experts, as well as leaders of foreign and domestic business associations and companies.
