The Investor’s golf tournament raises over $20,200 for charity
After many hours of competition, golfer Doan Dinh Dau won the championship trophy of the “Investors’ golden heart” charity golf tournament, while organizers The Investor and carmaker Hyundai TC raised more than VND500 million ($20,200) for charity.
The third edition of the golf tournament took place on Saturday morning successfully, leaving many impressions, and the prizes found their owners.
Speaking at the closing of the event, Pham Duc Son, editor-in-chief of The Investor, head of the tournament’s organizing board, said the event took place in golden autumn sunshine at the Royal Golf Course in the northern province of Ninh Binh with many exciting experiences for golfers.
"The hole-in-one prize - a Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2.5 (hole 2C) vehicle did not find its owner, but many awards will be given to excellent golfers," said Son.
According to the editor-in-chief, since the first season in 2022, the tournament has received enthusiastic support and companionship from the business community, investors and many other organizations and individuals. Through the tournament, many golfers got to know each other and connected in life and work.
“In collaboration with sponsors, more than VND1 billion ($40,370) raised from the previous two seasons has been given by The Investor to poor students who overcame difficulties and achieved good academic records in many schools across the country,” Son noted.
He added that with a profound humanistic meaning, the third annual golf tournament continues to receive support of many organizations and individuals, especially businesses and golfers. “Their companionship and enthusiastic support have made the tournament a success in many aspects.”
The organizers award the championship trophy to golfer Doan Dinh Dau (third, right).

The tournament has 136 participants who represent domestic and foreign investors, central and local state management agencies, and media agencies.
The money raised by this year’s event amounted to more than VND500 million ($20,200).
“We commit to working with representatives of donors to hand over all of this money to people living in hard conditions, especially poor students who overcome difficulties and achieve good academic results,” said the editor-in-chief of The Investor.
At the closing ceremony, the head of the organizing board sent his gratitude to Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Auto Joint Venture Joint Stock Company as co-organizer.
The organizers also sent their thanks to the main sponsor Taseco Land, other sponsors, including Bamboo Airways, BRG Group, Hoa Binh Group, Eurowindow, Vabis Group, Citra West Lake City Development Company Limited, Geleximco, MobiFone, Vietjet Air, Nam A Bank, Koretoviet center, Habeco, Heineken, Hasco Holdings, HDMon, GFDI, and Hai Nam Co. Ltd., and media agencies.
“Golf is no longer an alien type of sport, but a playground that connects 'golden hearts' who join hands so that no one is left behind. An economic media entity in Vietnam with print and online publications in both Vietnamese and English, we are clearly aware of our political mission and social responsibility,” said Pham Duc Son.
“Along with constantly improving the quality of information to better meet the needs of readers - domestic and foreign investors, we will continue to deploy charity activities to contribute to promoting education, encouraging talent, and supporting people living in difficult conditions. In that process, the editorial board of The Investor looks forward to continuing to receive cooperation, companionship and support,” added the editor-in-chief.
