In August alone, TMV reported sales of 5,406 units (including Lexus). Toyota-branded vehicles accounted for 5,171 units, comprising 1,593 domestically assembled (CKD) units and 3,578 completely built-up (CBU) imports.
The results showed that despite a temporary slowdown in the market, Toyota has maintained its growth momentum thanks to a diverse product portfolio and strong appeal across multiple segments.
Notably, Hybrid models continued to record outstanding growth, with 708 units sold in the month, doubling the figure of the same month last year. This reflects the rising consumer shift towards fuel-efficient, low-emission, and environmentally friendly vehicles.
In the luxury segment, Lexus sustained its position with 235 units delivered, raising the total number of Lexus cars on Vietnam’s roads to 15,024 since its official debut.
Among core products, the Yaris Cross retained its lead in sales with 1,012 units, further confirming the robust appeal of the urban SUV segment
