Twenty two people detained for gambling in northern Vietnam
Twenty two people were detained on Wednesday for organizing gambling and gambling in the form of poker at a five-star hotel in Vinh Phuc province.
The Ministry of Public Security's criminal police department (C02) identified Tran Anh Linh, 47, director of Tran Le Gia Company in Ho Chi Minh City as the group's leader.
More than 4.6 million poker chips, equivalent to over VND4.6 billion ($59,500), and many related documents were seized.

Lieutenant General To An Xo, spokesman of the Ministry of Public Security, said that this group operates on a large scale, many of them are business owners or wealthy people.
Those detained include leaders of the Vietnam Golf Association. Five people have been identified as gambling organizers, and the remaining gamblers.
