Two KienlongBank board members submit resignation requests

KienlongBank, registered on the market for unlisted public companies (UPCoM) as KLB, confirmed that it had received applications from the duo Thursday last week to resign as board members for the 2018-2022 term.

KienlongBank's board will submit the applications to the general meeting of shareholders for consideration and approval.

Tran Tuan Anh, 46, has a bachelor's degree in finance and credit and a master's degree in law.

She was former deputy head of the Ho Chi Minh City Housing Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank's (HDBank)’s real estate service division, former head of the bank's legal division, and assistant to general director cum head of the legal division. Later she became board member and deputy general director of the Viet Capital Bank.

From July 2, 2014 to February 23, 2018, she was deputy general director of KienlongBank. On February 24, 2018, she was appointed acting general director of KienlongBank and the general director from April 23, 2018 to October 14, 2021. Since April 26, 2018 she has been a board member.

Nguyen Thuy Quynh Huong, 46, has a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in finance and banking. Her previous assignment was with Dong Tam Dotalia JSCs.

Huong has been a board member of KienlongBank since April 2014 and occupies the same position with the KienlongBank Asset Manangement Company (KBA).

In the first nine months of the year, KienlongBank recorded net revenues of VND1,537 billion ($61.85 million) and after-tax profits of VND410 billion (16.5 million), up 1% and down 38%, respectively.

As of September 30, 2022, KienlongBank's total assets were valued at VND80,625 billion ($3.25 billion), down more than VND3,000 billion compared to the end of 2021.
