Sailing Club Phu Quoc and Shore Club Hoi An were named in a list of 10 "most luxurious beach clubs in Southeast Asia to party in style" by the South China Morning Post.

Sailing Club Phu Quoc

"Phu Quoc has quickly become an emerging destination in Asia, as more and more hotels (like Regent) spring up on the Vietnamese island," SCMP wrote.

"Enjoy your sunsets from the Sailing Club, an all-day beach club with its own stretch of white sand. As the night settles in, this high-end hotspot gets popular for its pool parties and happy hours," it commented.

Located in Phu Quoc, a 9-minute walk from Long Beach, Sailing Club Signature Resort Phu Quoc has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness center and a garden. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a bar and water sports facilities, according to Booking.com.

The nearest airport is Phu Quoc International Airport, 5.6 miles from Sailing Club Signature Resort Phu Quoc.

In mid August, Phu Quoc scored the "Best for beach lovers" title at the 10 destinations honored as best places to visit in Vietnam by world's leading travel guide Lonely Planet.

"About as far south as you can get from Hanoi without splashing into the Gulf of Thailand, the island of Phu Quoc is where beach worshippers come to pray," it wrote.

Lonely Planet added: "Lapped by jewel-blue waters and edged by fine sandy beaches, this is a place to slip into low gear, reaching for a cocktail as the ember-colored sun dips into the bay. But it’s far from undiscovered – local tourists come in droves for theme park thrills at VinWonders and giddying views over the sea from the world’s longest over-sea cable car."

In mid January, Phu Quoc, Vietnam's largest island off the southern province of Kien Giang, ranked third in the list of 23 world's best destinations to travel in 2023 by New York-based travel magazine Travel + Leisure. The island is also labelled as "one of the new stars of Vietnam tourism".

Shore Club Hoi An

"Reserve a VIP cabana or beach bed to spend the day in relaxation at Shore Club in Hoi An, Vietnam. This waterfront oasis is perched on a private stretch of sand on An Bang Beach, and hosts family-friendly events with DJs coming in at night. Adventure-seekers can try the parasailing, jet skiing or banana boat rides just outside the club," SCMP suggested.

Shore Club is Hoi An’s premier beachfront dining and lifestyle destination. "Located on a picturesque private stretch of sand in the heart of An Bang Beach, you’ll discover absolute beachfront luxury delivered with casual elegance," the club website says.

The ancient town of Hoi An in Quang Nam province, central Vietnam is a UNESCO heritage site. Flights connect Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Danang city (both one and a half hours). From there, Hoi An is a 45-minute taxi ride away.

In mid August, Hoi An had been named on a list of world's nine best city destinations with beaches by SCMP.

"Criss-crossed by canals, Hoi An is a photogenic city on Vietnam’s central coast. An architectural medley of wooden Chinese shophouses, French colonial buildings, ornate temples and the Japanese Covered Bridge helped the Old Town gain UNESCO World Heritage status in 1999," it wrote.

The other beach clubs in the list are Ku De Ta (Bali, Indonesia), Café del Mar (Phuket), Tanjong Beach Club (Singapore), Aqua Beach Club Angeles City (Philippines), The Beach Club at The Datai Langkawi (Malaysia), Nikki Beach (Koh Samui, Thailand), Desa Potato Head (Bali, Indonesia) and Sundays Beach Club (Bali, Indonesia).
