V‑Green, Viettel Post team up to expand charging, battery-swapping network
V-Green Global Charging Station Development Company (V-Green) of billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong will survey and install about 3,000 electric motorcycle charging stations and battery-swapping cabinets at Viettel Post locations across Vietnam.
An MoU to this effect was signed recently by V-Green and delivery giant Viettel Post.
Under the agreement, the two sides will jointly optimize their existing business networks to simultaneously expand two key infrastructure types: electric vehicle charging stations and smart delivery cabinets.

The move will help V-Green rapidly advance toward its ambitious goal of owning 500,000 charging points and 150,000 battery-swapping cabinets nationwide.
For Viettel Post, it will deploy 2,000 Smart Box delivery cabinets at V-Green’s suitable charging and battery-swapping locations.
Leveraging V-Green’s extensive network of hundreds of thousands of points, Viettel Post has the opportunity to rapidly expand its smart delivery channels across provinces, optimize last-mile delivery, and enhance customer experience.
V-Green CEO Nguyen Duc Vinh emphasized that this partnership will not only enable V-Green to quickly expand its charging and battery-swapping network, but also create a convenient and versatile ecosystem for customers.
Meanwhile, deputy CEO of Viettel Post Dinh Thanh Son called the partnership a key step in realizing his company’s green and digital transformation strategy.
Integrating charging points and battery-swapping cabinets will help Viettel Post optimize operational efficiency while contributing to the sustainable development goals of Vietnam’s logistics sector, he added.
The partnership extends beyond sharing space. The two companies also plan to develop franchise models, prioritize each other’s services, and notably, jointly design electric motorcycles tailored to the specific needs of postal workers and delivery couriers.
As part of its expansion strategy, V-Green has recently teamed up with partners owning extensive retail and service networks.
Under an agreement reached on September 25, V-Green and PNJ - Vietnam's leading jewelry maker - will collaborate to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure across PNJ’s stores, offices, and factories.
On September 15, V-Green and Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG) - a leading retailer in Vietnam - also signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Accordingly, V-Green will roll out more than 1,000 electric vehicle charging points and over 1,000 battery-swapping stations at stores across MWG’s core retail chains The Gioi Di Dong (mobile phones) and Dien May Xanh (electric and electronic home appliances) through the end of 2026.
V-Green was established by Pham Nhat Vuong, chairman of leading private conglomerate Vingroup and founder of electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast, in March 2024, with Vuong holding a 90% stake.
V-Green's mission is twofold: investing in the development of a comprehensive charging infrastructure system that prioritizes supporting VinFast vehicles, and propelling Vietnam towards becoming one of the world's leaders in electric vehicle charging station density.
