The number of Vietnamese sales partners on Amazon increased over 80% year-on-year despite impacts of the pandemic and the current economic climate, while their export revenues went up more than 45%, the report said.

With Fulfillment by Amazon service, thousands of Vietnamese partners grew their sales by more than 50% between August 2021 and August 2022.

The report pointed out that business-to-customer e-commerce export in Vietnam is expected to grow 20% annually in 2021-2026, a sizeable growth opportunity.

It added that the number of products sold by Vietnamese sales partners on Amazon’s stores rose more than 35% year-on-year, while the number of Vietnamese partners with sales exceeding $500,000 grew by 60%.

The top selling products of Vietnamese firms on the platform were in five categories of kitchen, home, apparel, health & personal care, and home improvement.

Amazon said about 10,000 cross-border e-commerce entrepreneurs will join the market in five years, in line with a program of online and offline training launched by Amazon and acknowledged by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

An Phat Holdings, HMG, Sunhouse and Lafooco are outstanding Vietnamese sales partners named by Amazon in the report.

An Phat Holdings, a tool and home improvement seller with its AnEco compostable products, has approached tens of thousand of customers on Amazon. Its sales in the first seven months of 2022 were five times higher than those in 2021, its first year on the platform.

HMG, a gift caterer, grew from a small workshop in Hanoi in 2014 to a factory with hundreds of international orders a day from Amazon at present.

Sunhouse, a household appliance provider, entered Amazon this year and the company's growth pace surpassed expectations. Its sale skyrocketed 160-200% monthly, particularly in the North American market.

Lafooco, a raw cashew manufacturer, had its Caramelized Salt Roasted Cashews and Coconut Salt Roasted Cashews feature in Amazon USA's Top 100 Cashew Products.
