Vietnam pharmaceutical firm to pay dividend of up to 180%

Ha Tay Pharmaceutical JSC (Hataphar) plans to pay a share bonus dividend at a ratio of 100:180 for 2022.

Hataphar, listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) as DHT, reported net revenue of VND1.84 trillion ($78.08 million) in 2022, up 14.2% year-on-year, and net profit of VND98.9 billion ($4.2 million), up 38.5%, the highest since its bourse listing in 2008.

The company has targeted a revenue of VND1.6 trillion ($68 million) and pre-tax profit of VND80 billion ($3.4 million) in 2023, down 13% and 35% respectively.

In the first quarter of this year, DHT recorded net revenue of VND499 billion ($21.2 million), up 22% year-on-year, and post-tax profit of over VND26 billion ($1.1 million), up 41%.

As of March 31, 2023, the company's charter capital had stood at more than VND264 billion ($11.22 million). Major shareholders included Hanoi Investment Fund for Development (4.1%), ASKA Pharmaceutical - Japan (24.9%), chairman Le Van Lo and his family (11.81%), and board member Le Xuan Thang and his family (8.13%).

On the HNX, DHT shares closed Thursday's session at VND60,800 ($2.58).
