Vietnam tech giant FPT to provide high-quality AI human resources
With the groundbreaking of an inter-level school on Sunday, FPT Corporation is completing its education system from elementary to university levels in the south-central province of Binh Dinh, to provide high-quality human resources, particularly in AI.

This is FPT's second high school in Binh Dinh and the fifth in its educational development journey in central Vietnam after those in Thanh Hoa, Hue, and Danang.
The FPT Quy Nhon Inter-Level School is expected to start enrolling students in 2025. It is set to cover more than 2.3 hectares at the AI Center-Supportive Urban Area in Tran Quang Dieu and Bui Thi Xuan wards, Quy Nhon town.
The facility will feature two lecture buildings, two multifunctional service buildings, a Vovinam hall, and support infrastructure. It is expected to train 2,400 students annually, from elementary to high school levels.
The educational environment at the school will follow FPT’s overall education strategy, prioritizing high-tech knowledge and experiences with a focus on STEM, AI, and robotics.
Le Truong Tung, CEO of FPT Education - a subsidiary of FPT Corp., said that the FPT Quy Nhon Inter-Level School is the third school to be launched by FPT this year, following the ones in the Mekong Delta province of Long An and Danang.
Alongside the FPT Quy Nhon High School, which follows a boarding model, and the FPT University Binh Dinh campus specializing in AI, FPT is completing its education system from elementary to university levels in Binh Dinh, he noted.
"The inter-level school is expected to work alongside local education, providing high-quality human resources with a focus on outstanding scientific and technical fields, particularly AI, for Binh Dinh. It will help the province become a leading talent training center in central Vietnam," Tung stated.
The school will benefit from modern technological infrastructure as part of the FPT education ecosystem, he said, adding both high school and university students in Binh Dinh will be able to learn knowledge while also participating in research projects and applying AI to real-life situations, with many unique benefits.
In addition, by proactively training high-quality, tech-oriented talent from the high school level, the opening of the new school in Binh Dinh - closely connected to FPT’s existing technological infrastructure - is expected to attract both domestic and international tech projects and high-caliber talent to the province. This will help Binh Dinh quickly become a key hub for AI science and technology in Vietnam and the region.
Established in 2013 as part of FPT Education, the FPT Schools system offers education from elementary to high school levels, with campuses in many key provinces and to be expanded nationwide.
Meanwhile, the AI Center - Supportive Urban Area spans 93.24 hectares in Tran Quang Dieu and Bui Thi Xuan wards, Quy Nhon town, with a total investment of VND4,362 billion ($171.8 million).
