Vietnamese industrial corporation CNCTech, through its subsidiary Dravico, has become a new strategic investor in Dragon Logistics, a Japan-backed joint venture.

Founded in 1996, Dragon Logistics is a joint venture between Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation and Suzuyo & Co., Vietnam’s Hanel, and now CNCTech.

The company provides regional and international logistics services built to Japanese standards, with a network spanning 23 countries and integration with UPS’s global system across 120 markets.

A company representative said CNCTech’s entry is expected to generate strong synergies by combining Dragon’s nearly three decades of operations and Japanese management standards with CNCTech’s industrial infrastructure ecosystem and customer base in major manufacturing hubs.

The partnership aims to boost investment in smart warehousing and improve supply chain efficiency nationwide.

Dragon Logistics operates offices and warehouses in key industrial localities such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Danang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai. Its network forms part of Suzuyo’s global logistics infrastructure across Japan, Singapore, the U.S., and Europe, and leverages Sumitomo’s investment footprint across Asia-Pacific and North America.

“Joining the Dragon Logistics joint venture is a strategic step in CNCTech’s roadmap to develop green and smart logistics infrastructure that meets international standards,” said chairman Nguyen Van Hung.

CNCTech Group, one of Vietnam’s leading industrial and infrastructure developers, is expanding its large-scale manufacturing and logistics portfolio across key provinces, with Phu Tho as a core development hub.

The company currently manages and develops over 500 hectares of industrial land, aligning with Phu Tho’s strategy to become a major industrial and logistics center in northern Vietnam.
