Apple supplier Luxshare-ICT to invest extra $11.5 mln in central Vietnam
China’s Luxshare-ICT, a supplier of Apple, will invest an additional $11.5 million in Vietnam’s central province of Nghe An, according to a project report.
The company started its Luxshare-ICT Nghe An project in August 2019. After nine capital additions, the project's investment capital already went up to $151.1 million.
The project covers 15.6 hectares in VSIP Nghe An, an industrial park per the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) model.
Its sector 1 started operation from June 2020, while the sector 2, including houses for workers, is set to enter official operation from April 2026. The project is set to employ 48,000 people.
With the upcoming additional investment, the project will have an annual output of 151 million computer peripheral devices, 271.6 million electronic components, 30.1 million smart watches, 15 million touch pens, 97.9 million electronics products, 54.8 million communications devices, 505,440 gaming consoles, 9.5 million 3D printers, among others.

VSIP Nghe An is also home to Luxshare-ICT (Nghe An) 2, another investment worth $358.5 million of Luxshare-ICT in the central province.
In addition to Nghe An, Luxshare-ICT’s other investments in Vietnam are located in the northern province of Bac Giang, including a $520-million project in Van Trung Industrial Park and a $504-million project in Quang Chau Industrial Park.
