Bamboo Capital, Tracodi win Asia Pacific corporate excellence awards
Bamboo Capital and Tracodi have been honored with awards in the corporate excellence category at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) 2022, the latter for the first time and the former for the second time in a row.
The two Vietnamese firms won the awards for their performance amidst impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic and the volatile economy. Both fulfilled APEA’s strict requirements including contributive factors, outstanding business results, innovation, sustainable development and financial rating.

In 11 years, Bamboo Capital has become a top conglomerate in Vietnam in the key sectors of renewable energy, real estate and financial services; as also in other sectors like construction, production, trade, services and medicine.
Tracodi is the construction arm of Bamboo Capital. In addition to implementing Bamboo Capital’s renewable energy and property projects, Tracodi is seeking investment opportunities for major traffic infrastructure projects in the Mekong Delta.
The growth consistency of Bamboo Capital and Tracodi in recent years put both firms in the VNR500 list of the 500 biggest firms in Vietnam; and in FAST500, a list of firms with the highest growth in the country. The lists were compiled by ranking company Vietnam Report JSC, based on 2021 data, in consultation with reputed foreign and domestic economists.
Its focus on the working environment, worker welfare and training of the workforce won Bamboo Capital the “Best Company to Work for in Asia” award given by HR Asia magazine.
Enterprise Asia said it valued BCG for its sustainable development orientation and contributions in the renewable energy sector, reducing emissions and protecting the environment. In addition, BCG's business results, financial audits, and leadership capacities also met the rigorous criteria set by the non-governmental organization.
The Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards is the region's most prestigious award for outstanding entrepreneurship, continuous innovation and sustainable leadership. The award provides a platform for companies and governments to recognize entrepreneurial excellence, spurring greater innovation, fair business practices and growth in entrepreneurship.
