Central Inspection Committee issues warnings to former Thai Nguyen chairmen
The Central Inspection Committee on Wednesday issued official warnings to Duong Ngoc Long and Vu Hong Bac, both former chairmen of the Thai Nguyen People's Committee, for violations that occurred during their time on the committee.

The committee found that provincial Party leaders in the 2016-2021 term had violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations, lacked responsibility, and shown loose leadership and direction.
This led to the people's committee, a number of departments, district people's committees, management boards of industrial parks and individuals violating Party regulations and State laws in managing and implementing public investment projects, and managing industrial parks, non-state budget investment projects, land and mineral resources. Some have been detained for further investigation.
The above violations have caused serious consequences, risked losses to the state coffers, and were difficult to remedy, causing anger among society and undermining the reputation of Party organizations and local governments.
The Central Inspection Committee decided to issue warnings to Duong Ngoc Long, former Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen's Party Committee and former chairman of the provincial People's Committee; Vu Hong Bac, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and former chairman of the province; Nhu Van Tam, former standing vice chairman; and Doan Van Tuan, former vice chairman.
Nguyen The Giang, deputy director of Thai Nguyen's Department of Natural Resources and Trade, was expelled from the Communist Party.
