Chinese materials major Kingfa on track to complete $80 mln plant in southern Vietnam
Kingfa, China’s leading advanced materials company, on Wednesday held a topping-out ceremony for its $80 million plant in Dong Nai province, a key industrial hub in southern Vietnam.
The project, spanning 14.4 hectares in Long Thanh Hi-Tech Industrial Park, is being developed by Vietnamese contractor AZB.
Once operational, the plant is expected to have an annual capacity of 170,000 tons and create over 1,000 jobs.

Kingfa said the Vietnam plant is part of its global expansion strategy with target towards the fast-growing Southeast Asian market.
The facility is set to become the company’s regional manufacturing and export hub, reinforcing its international supply chain.
Dong Nai is home to Long Thanh International Airport, which would be the largest in Vietnam once completed.
According to the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, the province lured over $1.3 billion in registered FDI capital into its industrial parks in January-May, $330 million above its 2025 target. The figure is expected to hit $1.5 billion by year-end.
