CT Group honored for developing eco-buildings
Ho Chi Minh City-based conglomerate CT Group has been honored by the Ministry of Construction for its contributions to the construction and development of eco-buildings in Vietnam.
The honoring was announced Wednesday in the framework of "Vietnam Eco-Buildings Week 2022".
Eco-buildings
CT Group and its environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) council are making efforts in line with the government's commitment to zero emissions by 2050. Sustainable urban and eco-building development is part of its sustainable development strategies.

CT has developed models that cover five criteria for urban sustainability, namely business, environment, community, technology, and culture.
Aside from initiatives that have won international prizes for the most innovative green buildings like Leman and Metro Star, there are other projects that specialize in reducing, reusing, and recycling like DIYAS. This brand helps promote the creativity of young communities.
The structures are designed with environmental harmony and the preservation of biological diversity in mind. CT uses low-emission or recycled products to lessen its environmental impact. When compared to similar initiatives, electricity and water usage are always lower by up to 25%.
CT has also invested in innovation, participating in green technology and collaborating with global enterprises.
The most compelling reason for CT Group's buildings is to create a decent living environment in which people can enjoy a home lifestyle brand.

"Vietnam Eco-Buildings Week 2022" held by the Ministry of Construction on October 13-14 in collaboration with the UNDP, IFC, Vietnam Green Building Council, IEC Consulting, and related organizations, drew over 1,200 delegates.
At the event, CT served as both a sponsor and an active advocate for activities promoting Vietnam's green and clean environment.
CT Group has been recognized for its significant contributions to green building development in Vietnam over the last 30 years.
