Thanh Thanh Cong Group opened the Ngan Thong Glass Bridge on Saturday connecting the Valley of Love and Dream Hill in the hillside town of Da Lat after more than four years of construction.

It is the first glass bridge in Vietnam's Central Highlands and southern region.

Da Lat can be reached by taxi or bus from Ho Chi Minh City in about seven hours, and it takes about four hours to travel from the beach town of Nha Trang.

The walkway is a hammock suspension bridge with a length of 325 m and width of 3 m. The deck is made from tempered glass with 7D technology that produces special effects.

The bridge is over 1,500 m above sea level, while the highest point to the ground is 90 m. According to the investor, the bridge can welcome more than 200 people at the same time, crossing from Mong Mo (Dream) Hill to the Valley of Love. Visitors are not limited to their time on the bridge.

The 7D experience on the bridge makes visitors feel like they are stepping out into a vast space, with a romantic landscape of thousands of pine trees at their feets, the misty Da Thien Lake, and the cloudy hills and mountains.

Tickets cost VND400,000 ($16.8) for the bridge, but visitors can also choose from a combo of VND600,000 ($25) per ticket (including entrance ticket to the entire Valley of Love and Ngan Thong Glass Bridge) or VND700,000 ($29) (including entrance ticket to the entire Valley of Love and Ngan Thong Glass Bridge and a buffet in the resort's restaurant).

Vietnam currently has three glass bridges concentrated in tourist areas in the Northwest, namely Love Glass Bridge in Son La province, Rong May Glass Bridge in Lai Chau province and Bach Long Glass Bridge in Son La province.

In May 2022, Bach Long Glass Bridge (White Dragon) was recognized as the world's longest glass bridge by Guinness World Records.

The bridge has become a renowned tourist destination since it opened in late April. Previously, the 526-meter-long bridge in China's Huangchuan Three Gorges held the record.

The bridge, located in Moc Chau Island Tourist Area, also set a second Guinness world record for the world's longest glass-bottom cliffside path, measuring 327 meters.
