Ecopark, the investor behind the famous Ecopark urban complex near Hanoi, is eyeing to invest in an urban complex near Vinh river in Nghe An province.
Two groups of investors have showed interest in developing the VND1.44 trillion ($63 million) project. The first is a partnership between Tri Duong Development Investment JSC and Hai Duong Ecopark Investmemt JSC, a subsidiary of Ecopark JSC. The second is the Newtatco-Tu Hiep Hong Ha-THV partnership.
A 25 minute drive from the center of Hanoi, the Ecopark urban area in Hung Yen province, invested by Ecopark JSC, is praised as the most livable, classy eco-urban city in northern Vietnam, with villas, apartments, four large parks and millions of trees.
In late last year, Nghe An People’s Committee approved the plan to find investors for the project near Vinh river.
The urban complex project aims to offer a high standard of living and be environment-friendly, energy-saving, sustainable and suitable to Nghe An and Vinh’s development plan until 2030, with to a vision to 2050.
Adjacent to Vinh river to the west and a 30-meter road to the east, the project will cover nearly 200,760 square meters (over 20 ha).
It will build 157 townhouses, 84 villas and 84 shophouses, with construction density of about 80% and maximum height of three storeys.
In 2021, Ecopark JSC acquired the Vietnam Laos Economic Cooperation Corporation (Vilaoco), the investor behind two urban projects on nearly 200 hectares along the banks of Lam river in Vinh town.
The projects are being introduced as Ecopark Vinh, with more than 5,000 villas, townhouses, shophouses and luxury apartments.
