FLC tower in Hanoi renamed as The West
Vietnamese property trading firm Gateway Hanoi, the new owner of a prime office tower at 265 Cau Giay street in Hanoi, has renamed the high-rise building The West.
Gateway Hanoi has finished its acquisition of the tower from Vietnamese real estate developer FLC.
The new owner said it is committed to making improvements to the tower’s functions and infrastructure facilities. The goal is to enhance tenant experience with more favorable conditions and attract new tenants, both Vietnamese and foreign businesses.

The office building used to be called the Bamboo Airways tower as the Vietnamese private carrier has an office over there. Located in a prime location in Hanoi’s Cau Giay district, the building has easy access to Ring Road 2 and Ring Road 3.
The West also has convenient connectivity with Hanoi’s downtown areas and high-tech zones in the west of the capital. The building is also expected to make contributions to the development of the west region, a new hub in Hanoi.
The new owner set a top priority as ensuring the smooth operation of The West for existing tenants.

Leading firm Savills Vietnam has been selected as the exclusive leasing and operation management unit for the tower, and the partnership will also serve the goal of securing more tenants.
Gateway Hanoi also plans to approach tenants in industries like information technology, logistics, manufacturing, consulting services, and others.

In the commercial podium section, The West will change the entire retail space structure and give priority to tenants in the food and beverage sector on the 1st and 2nd floors. The new owner also cooperates with businesses in entertainment, education, sports and many other fields to develop a high-quality utility complex at The West to serve residents, office workers, and students.
The tower has four basements and 38 floors above, offering a total floor area of 101,108 square meters. It opened in 2019.
