Former Ha Nam province vice chairman arrested
Ha Nam Police on Wednesday detained Truong Minh Hien, the northern province's former vice chairman, and Vu Huu Song, former director of its Department of Natural Resources and Environment, for "lack of responsibility, causing serious consequences".

The arrests are part of an investigation into the case "violating regulations on exploitation of natural resources" that occurred at the Hang Diem mountain, Kim Bang district, Ha Nam province from 2017 to 2021.
Previously, Ha Nam Police detained Nguyen Van Dien, director of Tien Dat Transport and Construction Co., Ltd., to clarify the alleged crime of violating regulations on exploitation of natural resources as prescribed in Article 227 of the Penal Code.
Currently, the investigative agency is expanding its probe into other relevant organizations and individuals, ensuring a thorough handling of the case.
