The resort is located on Canh Duong beach in Thua Thien-Hue province, central Vietnam. Inspired by the artistic heritage of Vietnamese dynasties past, it features 32 lagoon pool villas covering 131 square meters each and 17 beach pool villas of 124 sqm.

The main buildings and villas reflect the cultural and historical legacy of Vietnam, featuring integrated clay tiled pitched roofs, open courtyards and wood rafter ceilings designed in the style of traditional houses in Hue.

Hue, former imperial capital of Vietnam, hosts the Hue Citadel complex. The complex, set up by the Nguyen Dynasty that reigned from 1805 to 1945, is a UNESCO-recognised world cultural heritage site, capturing a lot of tourist attention.

Leading luxury family resort

The InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort was chosen Asia's Leading Luxury Family Resort.

Located on the southern and secluded stretch of Long Beach in Phu Quoc island, the resort offers 459 elegantly furnished accommodation units in the idyllic tropical island. It houses an award-winning HARNN Heritage Spa, a sky bar INK 360 and four restaurants.

The complex is a 15-minute drive from the Phu Quoc International Airport and a 20-minute drive from Duong Dong town.

Phu Quoc in Kien Giang province, also known as “Pearl Island”, was named among the 17 best places in Asia by cable news network CNN in 2019. "The island is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Southeast Asia and the world's longest overseas cable car," it said.

Besides relaxing on beautiful beaches like the Sao beach, Long beach and Ong Lang beach, travelers can kayak through fishing villages, dine on fresh seafood aboard a floating platoon, go squid fishing and visit a pearl farm.

Phu Quoc, Vietnam's largest island, became well-known globally after the government allowed 30-day visa-free entry to the island in 2014.

Leading luxury resort

The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort was awarded Asia's Leading Luxury Resort title.

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort's recreational options include cycling, fishing and hiking. Alternatively, guests can request for pampering massage and body treatments at the spa. There is also a modern fitness centre on site.

Danang, the tourism and business hub of central Vietnam, is home to Southeast Asia's most beautiful beaches like My Khe.

Two Asian titles

The JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa received two Asian titles: Leading Luxury Resort & Spa and Leading Luxury Wedding Resort.
