Vietnam's leading technology company FPT has signed six strategic agreements on AI and digital transformation with leading corporations in Thailand and Singapore across the agriculture-food, manufacturing, banking, energy, logistics and ground-handling sectors.

The deals were inked during the Vietnam-Thailand Business Forum in Bangkok and the Vietnam-Singapore Technology Connectivity Forum in Singapore, witnessed by Vietnam's top leader To Lam and senior officials from Thailand and Singapore.

The agreements underscore FPT Corporation's growing role in the global AI transformation wave as major regional corporations increasingly turn to the company to support large-scale AI adoption strategies. The partnerships also highlight FPT's technological capabilities, implementation expertise and growing reputation in international markets.

Nguyen Van Khoa, CEO of FPT, said the agreements reflected rising demand among businesses to integrate AI into production, operations and business activities.

"However, based on our experience, the biggest challenge is not access to technology, but embedding AI into the right processes, workforce and governance models to create tangible value," he said.

He said FPT had developed CASAN, a five-level AI-native capability framework designed to help enterprises establish a clear roadmap from AI exploration to full-scale AI integration as a core organizational capability.

"These partnerships will not only expand AI adoption across key industries but also help establish large-scale AI transformation models that deliver measurable and scalable results," Khoa added.

Partnerships in Thailand

In Thailand, FPT signed an MoU with Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), one of the world's largest agro-industrial and food companies, to explore and deploy AI and digital transformation initiatives across the group's value chain. The collaboration will focus on enhancing data analytics, traceability and intelligent operations.

FPT also partnered with SCG, one of ASEAN's largest industrial conglomerates, to develop next-generation AI and digital transformation initiatives across its business ecosystem.

The cooperation will focus on AI transformation, agentic AI, intelligent operations, ERP (enterprise resource planning) consulting and digital infrastructure development.

Potential applications include AI-driven manufacturing optimization, predictive maintenance, smart supply chain management, warehouse automation, quality control and digital twin technologies aimed at improving operational efficiency while supporting sustainability goals.

The initiative is expected to expand AI adoption among SCG's businesses in chemicals and petrochemicals, cement and building materials, packaging, logistics, and enterprise transformation.

Expanding cooperation in Singapore

In Singapore, FPT broadened its partnerships with leading companies in financial services, energy, logistics and transportation.

Under a strategic partnership with United Overseas Bank (UOB), one of Asia's leading multinational banks, the two companies will collaborate on AI and digital transformation initiatives, financial services innovation and the development of the regional fintech ecosystem.

FPT also signed an agreement with Sembcorp Industries, Singapore's major energy and urban development group, to cooperate in AI and digital transformation, data centers, renewable energy, and smart city development. The partnership is expected to pave the way for large-scale digital transformation projects leveraging the strengths of both companies.

In the logistics and transportation sector, FPT entered into a partnership with Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS), a ground-handling and cargo services provider with more than 50 years of experience, to explore strategic cooperation opportunities in AI, technology innovation and logistics across Singapore, Vietnam, and the wider Asian region.

In addition, FPT signed a strategic agreement with ComfortDelGro, one of the world's largest multinational transport operators, to develop smart mobility solutions, optimize operations, and enhance customer experience across regional markets.

The partnerships with industry leaders demonstrate FPT's growing capability as a technology partner supporting organizations and enterprises in implementing large-scale AI transformation strategies, from consulting and solution development to deployment and operational optimization.

On the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE), FPT shares closed Friday at VND71,600 ($2.7) apiece.
